It became apparent that the wide experience previously gained by the two Directors and their knowledge of companies seeking to purchase diesel engines should be used to sell, and offer after sales back up.

 

With this in mind the UK Distributorship for Sisu Diesel (formerly Valmet) was acquired and shortly followed by Kubota as an Engine Dealer for Central Southern England.  More recently the Dealership of Briggs & Stratton Commerical Power was added.

 

Over the years WPE has developed a relationship with several companies manufacturing a range of equipment that use engines. Engines are purchased as basic units and customised to the requirements of the application in our workshop.

 

Used engines in need of repair are either overhauled or replaced with new or from our exchange engine stocks by our engineers.

 

Site servicing is carried out on a range of plant and includes scheduled contract maintenance on large diesel generator and pump sets with a back up for emergency call out.

 

Warranty work is carried out both on site and in the workshop, where our engineers have to diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.

 

In order to support our Product lines a comprehensive stock of parts is carried in our stores area.

In order to access information the office is equipped with a networked computer system with direct connection to all of our suppliers order and technical information systems.
